If you guys think that adopting a child is in trend, then you are absolutely wrong, 'coz people still do it just to give love and shelter to some underprivileged children!

 

You know whom I’m talking about? It's Katherine Heigl, Izzie Stevens of Grey’s Anatomy episodes.

 

Katherine adopted a Korean girl last year, who has become the apple of her eye. She feels overjoyed when the little tot tries to walk and show love towards momma.

 

 

Katherine doesn’t even rely on anyone except her husband Josh Kelley to take care of their daughter. She is very much concerned about the little baby and some people say that it’s a trend!

 

What b******t!!

 

All her fans who used to download Grey’s Anatomy just to catch some glimpses of her, find it untrue as well.

 

Well, I think people who adopt kids thinking it's a trend are really nuts! Katherine's daughter is very blessed to have a mom like her.

 

You wanna know what inspired Katherine to adopt a child? It was her mother who adopted Katherine’s sister, Meg three decades ago, and not for the sake of a so-called 'trend'.

Katherine and her mom take it as a joke. She said, "It's so funny. My mom and I joke about it when people say, 'You're just doing it because it's trendy.' My mum says, 'Well, I'm trendier than everybody because I did it in 1970s when I adopted your sister Meg.''
