Chyler Leigh is the daughter of Yvonne Norton and Robert Potts. She spent her childhood in Virginia Beach, Virginia. When she was twelve years old, she moved to Miami, Florida along with her brother and her mother.

Chyler started modeling at an early age, when she was in grade eight. She started to appear in commercials and a news show for teens, named as ‘Hall Pass’. She cleared the California High School Proficiency Exam, and did not complete her high school studies.

She got a role in the film ‘Kickboxing Academy’ at the age of 15, and acted along with her brother in the movie. She then appeared in the film ‘Not Another Teen Movie’.

Chyler has acted for many television series and shows. We saw her on our television screen in ‘Kinetic City Super Crew’, ‘Saving Graces’, ‘Safe Harbor’, ‘M.Y.O.B.’, ‘7th Heaven’, ‘That ‘80s Show’, ‘The Practice’, ‘Reunion’, ‘Grey’s Anatomy’, etc.

Chyler Leigh married Nathan West on 20 July 2002. They are the parents of three children. Their third child is a daughter, Anniston Kae, who was born on 7 May 2009. The other two children are, a son named Noah Wilde and a daughter named Taelyn Leigh. Chyler and Nathan have worked together in ‘7th Heaven’, in 2000.

Chyler Leigh was among the actors who earned nomination for the Outstanding Performance by an Ensemble in a Drama Series for ‘Grey’s Anatomy’ at the Screen Actors Guild Award in 2008.
In 2000, she was nominated for the Young Artist Award for the Best Performance in a TV Series – Young Ensemble for ‘Safe Harbor’.

She became the winner of Young Hollywood Award in the category of Exciting New Face-Female, in 2002.
