Grey's Anatomy

Does the very name of doctors and hospitals scare you? Then this series will make you let go of that feeling. This is actually a very cool, interesting and breath-taking series about a few very friendly doctors and there is no need for you to be scared of them. Grey’s Anatomy is a medical drama, which debuted in March 27, 2005. Since then the series is doing amazingly well and there are people who will do anything for this series.

Grey’s Anatomy is basically a hospital drama that focuses on the professional and personal lives of the doctors and interns inside the Seattle Grace. Oh, Seattle Grace is the name of the hospital, where all these doctors work and all of them try their level best in order to get good name and improve the rankings of this hospital. Grey’s Anatomy basically focuses on Meredith Grey, who joined the hospital as a surgical intern and later becomes a resident of the hospital. She along with her other intern colleagues, Cristina Yang, Isobel “Izzie” Stevens, and George O’Malley, try hard to make a position at the hospital. Along with their professional lives, there is a lot that goes on in their personal lives and that also becomes the focus of the series.

Meredith Grey is actually the daughter of a very famous surgeon and tries her level best to maintain the reputation of her mother. Her mother is now suffering from Alzheimer’s disease, the fact that she is hiding from everyone. Besides all this, she invites more problems, when she develops a liking for her boss, Derek Shepherd, a surgical resident, who has just come from New York to Seattle. Others who add to the team of Seattle Grace are Cristina, who is Meredith’s friend and rival at the same time, because she gives her tough competition when it comes to work. Cristina falls for Preston Burke, who is also a resident at Seattle Grace and competes with Derek for the title of chief resident.

Then there is Izzie, who was earlier an underwear model and doesn’t want that people should judge her for that, so she hides this bitter fact of her past from everyone. Next intern is George, whom girls just find as their best friend and nothing more than that. And then there is Alex, who can get girls into his bed within no time. All of them spend some good time with each other, but their first priority is their work, at any time of the day.

All of them lose their wit, when they see Miranda Bailey another resident and a senior at Seattle Grace, who is famous as ‘The Nazi’. And on top of him is the Chief of Surgery Richard Webber, who decides everything for them.
