Grey's Anatomy

Above question must be cropping in the minds of all those who watch Grey’s Anatomy episodes on a regular basis. Similar was my reaction when I heard this. I was like- “what? Don’t tell me this is true!”

 

Before you all get confused, let’s get profound.

Unfortunately, the incredibly sexy babe, Katherine Heigl, well known for her f***ing hot personality has been an absentee in this season. As a result, lots of doubts are being raised about her continuity in the show.

 

Even Heigl’s much anticipated March 1 return to the shooting sets of ABC series is being seen with a sense of speculation. Although show insiders believe that viewers will again get to see their much loved actress, but it wouldn’t be a surprise if this time around her acting stint turns out to be a short-lived affair.

 

Moreover, it is being said that because the show has grown six seasons old, changes in casting and storyline are bound to take place. On the other hand, Katherine’s movie career is also showing a growing trend off late, so she might have decided in favor of shifting her focus towards big screen acting.

 

Even if Katherine returns back to shooting and features in some more Grey’s Anatomy episodes, by the time current season ends, the pretty actress would have missed nearly half section of the complete season that is expected to be 24 episodes long.

 

The way Grey’s Anatomy’s storyline is shaping it appears as if writers have already planned to smoothly strike off her character. Firstly we saw that Izzie (name of character being played by Heigl) suffers from severe type of cancer but recuperates after a major surgery. Afterwards, Izzie is fired from the medical facility due to a grave mistake she commits while treating a serious patient. The love story that was brewing between her and Alex has also been wrapped up by showing their separation.

 

If we analyze the whole scenario, unfortunately it seems that either Katherine’s days on Grey’s Anatomy episodes have already ended or they are about to end. Our much loved show is definitely passing through a phase of changes and it will take some time before we accept them.
